In 2002, Attorney Hebbon accepted a position with the United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons. During her first year with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Attorney Hebbon was an Assistant Regional Counsel for the Northeast Region. In 2003, she was assigned to the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Fort Dix, New Jersey, which is the largest federal prison in the United States housing approximately 4500 inmates. As the only Staff Attorney at FCI Fort Dix, Attorney Hebbon was responsible for all litigation, which included Bivens complaints, petitions for writ of habeas corpus, and Federal Tort Claim actions (personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and loss of property). Attorney Hebbon also responded to all inmate grievances and ensured that inmate discipline was in compliance with policy and the law. As an Executive Staff Member, Attorney Hebbon advised the Warden and staff on all legal matters. She also taught Ethics and Standards of Employee Conduct to all new employees and during annual training.

Attorney Hebbon attributes her determination and well-roundedness to growing up in Camden, New Jersey, where she was constantly faced with negative stereotypes and a lack of resources. Attorney Hebbon is proud to show the rest of the world that good, positive, successful people do come from inner-cities like Camden, New Jersey. Attorney Hebbon is dedicated to helping others and prides herself on integrity, honesty, loyalty, and excellence. She enjoys reading, public speaking, dancing, and spending quality time with her family.
